Height: 1 3/4 in. (4.5 cm.)

The mythical bird carved from off-white nephrite with some slight inclusions, holding a branch of peony in its beak, an auspicious sign symbolizing wealth, rank and good fortune.

Provenance: Ex. Erik Hancock

Condition: Overall in excellent condition, with a very small chip to the crown.
