A jade collared disc

Neolithic to Shang dynasty, 1st millenium BC
Diameter: 3 1/2 in. (9.1 cm.)
Thickness of disc and collar: 3/4 in. (1.8 cm.)
Thickness disc only: 0.16 in. (4.4 mm.)

Of translucent green jade with white veins, the disc is very thin and fitted with a vertical inner collar.
