A black and white archer's ring

Qing dynasty, 19th century
Length: 1 1/4 in. (3.28 cm.)

The body of the ring is of black and white nephrite, with the white face carved with a crane, a lotus flower and leaves growing from scrolling water, which is a pun to wish a continuous promotion to the first rank.

Condition: A couple of minute frits; otherwise in excellent condition.
