An ebony netsuke of a recumbent ox

Length: 1 3/4 in. (4.3 cm.)

A small but fine study of an recumbent ox, its head slightly turned to the left, its legs drawn beneath the body, the front right leg forming a natural himotoshi, the eyes inlaid in the usual manner with brass and dark pupils, the genitals with remains of red lacquer, signed "Minko" and a "kakihan".

Condition: Good, with some wear, and a small chip to the front and rear right hooves.
