An openwork ivory netsuke
Unsigned, late 19th century
Width: 1 3/8 in. (3.45 cm.)
A manju-style netsuke shaped in the form of a lantern, carved in openwork all four sides of a pavillion among pine trees, a separate pin with the head carved as a chrysanthemum, pierced with a hole to hold the cord and netsuke in place.

Condition: Good, with a cack running atop.
