Qing dynasty, Jiajing period (1796-1821)
Decorated brown enamels, iron-red and gilt and modeled in the form a Buddhist Lion holding a ball in his mouth and front paws.
H: 2 7/8in (7.3cm.) excluding stopper
This is a classical example of the snuff bottles molded at the end of the 18th century and throughout the 19th century.
