China, Late Zhou/Han dynasty (3rd-2nd century BC)
The tall vase of cylindrical form is raised on three small feet and flanked on each side with two small taotie-mask handles securing a handle connected in its center with a flush-fitted lid. The surface is covered with a lovely patina of greens and reds.
