A LARGE GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF GUANYIN

Qing Dynasty (18th century)
The tall figure is seated in the lotus position, the left hand raised with with the forefinger joining the thumb, the Gesture of Debate explaining the Buddha's teaching [Vitaka Mudra], while the other and faces downward in gesture of generosity.
