A TWO-CASE INLAID IVORY INRO by RANTEI
Signed Rantei, Edo Period (late 18th century)
A small but very interesting ivory inro carved in katabori and inlaid with horn and coral to depict a coral diver pulling out of the sea a very large branch of coral. 'Rantei' incised on the base within an oval cartouche. Matching coral ojime.

Condition: good, fine hairline crack to middle case.
