AN IVORY NETSUKE

Unsigned, Edo Period (Late 18th - 19th century)

A small ivory netsuke of a shishi trying to climb over a very large ball. The himotoshi is formed by a larger and a small hole on the base. Excellent patina.

1 1/4 in. (3.3 cm.) long

Condition: Excellent
