An inlaid ivory netsuke by Yasutaka

Signed Yasutaka, Edo to Meiji Period - middle of the 19th century
Height: 1 1/8 in. (3.3 cm.)

A lovely netsuke of a seated boy playing with a Daruma doll. His coat is very finely incised with a pattern and green-stained and inlaid with coral and silver. The himotoshi is formed by two holes on the base lined with a black lacquer. It is signed Yasutaka on a red lacquer tablet on the base, as most of signatures by Yasutaka.
