A LARGE SACRIFICIAL BLUE QIANLONG M & P PLATE
Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period (1736-1795)
This finely potted large plate is covered with a deep blue glaze with a hint of purple, which defines the "sacrificial blue" glaze, also called "Mazarin blue."
The white glazed base bears the minyao mark of the Qianlong emperor, and it is of the period.
Diam. 10 1/4 in. (26.1 cm.)
Condition: surface scratches due to extensive use.
