A GILT BRONZE CANDLE STICK HOLDER Qianlong Period (1735 - 1796) A very good gilt bronze candle stick holder of foliated form, with a central bowl to receive the wax. The overall surface is finely decorated with raised stylized floral motifs and tendrils. H. 9 3/8 in. (23.5 cm.) Condition: overall good with some wear; the tip of the needle broken off Provenance: Private Collection in Colorado, active from the 1960's to the late 1980's Ref. 704730SOLD
