Nephrite of celadon color with a light russet vein on the foot, of double-gourd form with a small everted neck and a concave base.

A bottle of similar form, material and size is illustrated in Robert Kleiner, Chinese Snuff Bottles: The White Wings Collection (London: 1997), cat. no. 21. According to the author (p. 43), such shape was especially popular at court and symbolizes the hope for fertility.
