Probably Beijing Palace Workshops, 1720–1790
Transparent ruby-red glass of elongated oval form with flat panels on either side, a tall cylindrical neck and recessed foot.
The richness of red glass is due to the inclusion of gold in the glass. The flattened sides are obtained by blowing the glass into a mold and that results in creating an optical illusion when looking through the glass.
