An archaic two-part bi disc
Late Warring States or Han period, 3rd – 1st century BC
Width: 5 ½ in (14 cm)
Thickness: 1/8 in (3 mm)
Forming two arcs, the jade is of pale olive color and strong red coloration within part of the stone, with twelve small symmetrical holes drilled from one side, the ring with a large notch on each of the arcs, with an inner ridge around the outer and inner circumferences (except for the sides of the notch), the body covered with small bumps laid in geometrical pattern. Together with a fitted box.
