An opaque white glass jar of bulbous form with a sapphire blue glass overlay, carved in high relief with six oblong medallions and a band of stylized ruyi lappets encircling the neck; the first panel depicting a peacock perched on a rock with a butterfly, a large peony and lingzhi; the second panel with two magpies, a butterfly and a large chrysanthemum growing from rockwork; the third panel with two magpies on a branch of plum growing from rockwork; the fourth panel with a butterfly, a large quatrefoil flower and lingzhi growing from rockwork; the fifth panel with a butterfly, a large iris and lingzhi growing from rockwork; and the sixth panel with a butterfly, lilies and lingzhi growing from rockwork.
