A pair of white glass bowls similarly decorated with a carved and incised red overlay, the body modeled in the form of a large lotus leaf with a flaring scalloped-rim folding over the edge of the lotus leaf, the walls depicting two butterflies and an egret amidst lotus flowers and pods, chrysanthemums and arrowroots, the stalks of the plants forming a short and elegant foot.
