A large turquoise glass bowl resting on a small ring foot, the sides flaring to a scalloped rim, the white overlay carved on the outside with an egret flying amidst blooming lotus.

A single egret and lotus form the pun “May you pass your exams all the way”, referring to the civil service examination. See Bartholomew (2006), 4.10.1.
